Curriculum

The course work is broad-based, furnishing an understanding of the interrelationships among the physical and biological elements of the natural environment, an appreciation of the social, political, and economics forces that influence fish and wildlife management, and the ability to analyze natural resource problems to forge realistic solutions.

Academic Requirements

Admission Requirements:

For Regular Decision applicants, the admissions office conducts an holistic review of each applicant that balances the following primary considerations:

  • grades through the end of junior year,
  • the rigor of a student’s curriculum relative to the curriculum offered at her/his high school,
  • and, results of either the SAT I or ACT with Writing.

Secondary consideration is given to the following factors in RD evaluations:

  • intellectual pursuits,
  • creative endeavors and intercultural experiences,
  • public service,
  • co-curricular activities,
  • community involvement,
  • leadership and family commitments,
  • and, integrity and personal maturity
