Overview

Alternative energy sources are a major consideration in today’s construction industry: look closely at how buildings are constructed to make them more energy-efficient, conserving finite resources like fossil fuels.

This Building Services and Sustainability course at University of Bedfordshire considers both a building’s structure and the systems that can be installed inside.

Bedford College’s excellent facilities give you the opportunity to get hands-on experience with many of the most up-to-date alternative fuel systems, including solar domestic hot water heating systems, ground source heat pumps and photovoltaic systems.

How will this course enhance my career prospects?

You can progress straight onto the third year of a course delivered at the University of Bedfordshire, to achieve a full Bachelor’s degree.
