Are you passionate about working with young children, infants through 8 years old, and their families and communities during this critically time in a human’s life? If so, the University of Colorado Denver’s four-year, 126-credit hour undergraduate Early Childhood Education (License) program which leads to Colorado teacher licensure might be the right program for you.
What you'll study
We prepare highly competent early childhood education professionals who are known for embracing the whole child in inclusive, culturally and linguistically diverse public school or community-based early childhood education settings. With this licensure, you will be eligible to teach in pre-K through grade three classrooms in the public schools or in infants through five year old community child care programs. Our program emphasizes family-centered practices, culturally sustaining teaching and is inspired by the potential of all children and families.
