The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (Honours) at the University of Technology Sydney prepares students to be active players in the knowledge economy. 

The course provides the research skills needed to create knowledge, a much harder and more rewarding task than simply using the knowledge created by other people. 

Students experience the satisfaction of creating links between the world of cutting-edge knowledge and the IT industry.

  • Applicants must have completed a UTS recognised bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline at an appropriate level.
  • Applicants must have completed a bachelor's degree in information technology, equivalent to the UTS Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (C10148), with a minimum weighted average mark of 65. Admission is subject to the approval of the honours program coordinator and is dependent on the availability of appropriate academic supervision within the university.
