The University of Western Australia ('the University') provides the UWA Humanitarian Swans Scholarship to encourage and assist students from refugee and asylum seeker backgrounds to engage in tertiary education and undertake an undergraduate degree course at the University.

Eligibility

  • Hold, or have applied for and be eligible to hold a Temporary Protection Visa (subclass 785) or Safe Haven Enterprise Visa (subclass 790)
  • Be experiencing financial hardship
  • Be a school leaver applicant to the University
  • Be enrolled, or eligible to enrol full-time and in an undergraduate degree course.
