Description

The Singapore International Pre-Graduate Award (SIPGA) gives international students the unique opportunity to experience the vibrant scientific environment and work with world-renowned researchers at A*STAR’s Research Entities.Students who are pursuing their bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computing and Information Science, Biomedical Science, Physical Science or Engineering-related disciplines can apply for attachments of two to six months in duration.

Awardees are provided with the following during their attachment in Singapore:

Monthly stipend of S$2,000

SIPGA awardees must complete an online SIPGA Attachment Report at least 3 weeks before the end of the attachment.

Eligibility

  • Open to international 3rd and 4th year undergraduate and master’s students from overseas universities in STEM courses.
  • Obtained/on track to obtain at least a Second-Class (Upper). Honours or equivalent for bachelor’s degree.
  • Students must remain matriculated in their home university. during the attachment period.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Strong interest in a research career.
  • The above eligibility criteria are not exhaustive. A*STAR may include additional selection criteria based on prevailing scholarship policies.
