At Advanced Navigation, their mission is to be the catalyst of the autonomy revolution. They believe that they need more engineers to make it happen.

They have spent years developing AI-based navigation and robotics solutions for sea, land and air applications. They work with some of the world’s most innovative companies, including Boeing, Google, Tesla, Apple, and General Motors, to enable tomorrow’s autonomous systems.

Whether they are helping clients to get to the Moon, mapping ocean floors, or achieving autonomous precision farming, Advanced Navigation works on solving real-world problems.

Now it is your chance to grow with their USD 5,000 engineering student grant program! USD 5,000 in cash will be awarded and go towards the student’s education in engineering. 

There is a maximum of one student grant available at this stage. This will be allocated at the discretion of Advanced Navigation.

Pre-requisite: current enrolment at a university for a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering.

Proof of university enrolment will be requested at the time of providing the student grant.

During the application process, you will be asked to provide the following information.

1) Contact Information

2) Motivation letter

In 200 words, tell them why you are the best candidate for this scholarship and how the grant will contribute towards developing your career as an engineer.

3) Essay 

In 500 words, discuss:

“Drones and robotics are assisting humans to carry out a variety of tasks. Think about subsea, marine, land, air or space applications, and Advanced Navigation’s tagline “autonomy everywhere”. If you were given the resources, what autonomous system would you build to improve our lives?”
