Description
The New Holland Scholarship Australia (NHS Australia) offers credit mobility scholarships to students from Australia who would like to study in the Netherlands for a short period and become part of the long-standing historic ties between the two countries.
To celebrate the first recorded European landing on Western Australian soil by the Dutch explorer Dirk Hartog 400 years ago, the Dutch government has initiated and finances the NHS-Australia in cooperation with the Dutch consulate in Australia.
It aims to increase the academic cooperation between Australia and the Netherlands. One of the main pillars of the programme is to stimulate new bilateral partnerships between Australian and Dutch universities and deepen existing ones.
