Description

SWE New Jersey was chartered on October 10, 1970.  This section supports professional women engineers in the entire state of New Jersey.  SWE New Jersey spun off from the New York Section, which had many New Jersey residents, including founding president Beatrice Hicks.  The SWE New Jersey Section was established in 2008 to support incoming freshman engineering and engineering technology majors whose home state is New Jersey.
