Description

In honour of Lois Hole, Lieutenant Governor of Alberta from February 2000 to January 2005. The scholarship recognizes student leadership and community service which exemplify the principles the late Lieutenant Governor believed in and lived.

Eligibility

An applicant must meet the following criteria to be eligible to apply for this award:

  • Be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident – visa students are not eligible.
  • Be an Alberta Resident.
  • Have a GPA of 3.6 or greater.
  • Have completed 15 AU credits.
  • Full-time enrolment in the second or subsequent year of post-secondary study in an AU undergraduate arts or AU undergraduate social science degree program.
  • Submission of the fully completed application form and required reference letter to the AU Student Awards Unit.
