Description

The Albert & Pirkko Karvonen Environment Award is intended to recognize the academic achievement of AU undergraduate program or non-program (unclassified) students who have demonstrated academic excellence.

Award amount: $1500

Eligibility

  • It is awarded annually (July 1 of previous year to June 30 of current year) to the students who have completed and achieved the highest grade in: BIOL205, BIOL207, BIOL345, ENSC200, ENSC495,ENSC496
  • Minimum course grade of 3.60 or higher is required. Recipients are eligible to receive one award per student per course. Open to any program or non-program (unclassified) students who are Canadian residents.
