Universities in Lódz
The Medical University of Lodz is one of the largest state-owned medical universities and one of the leading research centers in Poland. It has over 75 years of medical tradition and there are more than 9 500 students attending different courses at MUL. Medical teaching in English was initiated at MUL in 2003/2004. Presently, 900 foreign students attend medical and dental programs.
The University of Lodz is a responsible higher education institution, focusing its actions on intercultural and social integration. There are 95 nationalities currently studying at the University of Lodz. Our University builds academic community around the values of respect for cultural, religious and community identities as well as social sensitivity.
The University of Humanities and Economics in Lodz (AHE) was established in 1993. It is one of the largest non-public institutions of higher education in Poland. We offer more than 23 fields of studies and a wide choice of subjects, including 5 studies in English.
