If you’re looking for a convenient, affordable way to earn a degree from a prestigious institution, look no further than the Harvard Extension School Bachelor of Liberal Arts.
This Bachelor’s degree program provides a well-rounded undergraduate education. It features a blend of traditional liberal arts courses and focused topic areas such as business management, biology, and international relations.
But that’s just the beginning. Harvard Extension School also offers:
The coveted Ivy League curriculum
Taught by highly experienced faculty members, our courses are designed to sharpen your verbal and written communication skills, critical thinking and analytical capacity, and subject matter expertise.
The flexibility of remote learning
One of the most distinctive features of the Bachelor of Liberal Arts is that you can take the majority of your courses online, from home. Whether you watch course videos at your convenience each week or participate in a weekly live web-conference course, you can take an Ivy League class from anywhere in the world.
The legendary Harvard on-campus experience
To make sure you have the full Harvard experience, you complete at least 16 credits (typically four courses) on campus. Spend two summers with us taking courses at Harvard Summer School, which issues the I-20 forms you need for your F-1 visa. It’s an ideal time of year to enjoy all that historic Harvard Square and Boston has to offer.
Several specialized fields of study
You begin your Bachelor of Liberal Arts by selecting your concentration: humanities, science, or social science. Then, you can further focus your education by choosing from 20 fields of study (which are similar to majors) and 26 minors, including literature, history, economics, and computer science.
The accessibility that you've always hoped for
Applying to the program is easy with our three-step process:
1. Demonstrate your English proficiency and verify your international credentials.
2. Begin your degree right away by passing three admissions courses with grades of B or higher.
3. Complete and send your application! It’s that simple.
The bragging rights of a Harvard commencement
Upon completion of your Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree, you’ll have the opportunity to join your fellow graduates in May (and receive your diploma) at Harvard’s Commencement ceremony, which takes place in the renowned Harvard Yard.
